A Wake-Up Call to the Church
Matthew 13:25…. “But while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat, and went his way.”

While men slept, the enemy crept in…unnoticed, unchallenged, and unopposed and sowed seeds of discord among us. Men with evil intentions and hardened hearts have come in our midst, not to build, but to tear down.

They have sown seeds of division to put brother against brother and sister against sister.

They have worked to weaken our prayer life, to shift our focus from the eternal to the trivial, and to break us into a spirit of complacency.

But today, I call upon the church …the redeemed of the Lord…to arise!

Let us take back our peace, recover our joy, restore our unity, renew our strength, and return to true worship!

This is not the hour to be distracted, disjointed, or defeated. This is the hour to rise up in prayer, not to avoid it; to unite, not to divide; to focus, not to drift.

Let us come together on one accord, just as they did in the Upper Room, to uproot every evil seed the enemy has sown among us.

We declare in the mighty Name of Jesus Christ, that no weapon formed against this house shall prosper (Isaiah 54:17), and every plant, which our heavenly Father hath not planted, shall be rooted up (Matthew 15:13).

Church, it’s time to war in the Spirit. It’s time to stand on our watch, not to sleep.

The time for silence has passed…now is the time for fervent, united prayer.

Let God arise and let His enemies be scattered (Psalm 68:1).
